'Cleere' website in its basic form was submitted to the search engines on the 1st of July 2011 and is currently in a developmental phase. We expect this phase to continue until September as the code driving each module is bespoke and fairly complex. At the end of this phase we expect to have a feature-rich website that is unique in terms of functionality for this genre.

Once the site is completely built we will set about adding content based on research and contributions from anyone interested in seeing the site develop into a powerful resource. The site will contain the following features

- Social media functionality (Cleerebook). Here you will have a Facebook type of interface to connect or tag with family and friends, join closed groups, add pictures and video; you will even be able to interface with Facebook itself.

- Forums to discuss topics of interest or ask questions.

- Add articles of interest and become part of the team.

- Public picture library/gallery as an archive of important photographs of people and places relevant to Cleere genealogy or history. (This is separate to the personal images within the social media section)

- Guestbook for casual surfers to just say hello

- You can supply spotlight articles on yourself or your business or even perhaps on behalf of a third party if it is relevant and of general interest

- A genealogical resource – background information on the origin of the name or its variants.

- Publicise an upcoming event or function relating to Cleeres. This could be a gig, wedding, christening, baptism, award or similar.
