Aims and Objectives
www.cleere.com has been created for the following reasons

a)  To establish the origins of the surname ‘Cleere’ and how it is connected to similar names, both historical and current.
b)  To create a central resource for all ‘Cleere’ related information. This includes articles, images, historical records, video etc so that a permanent record is established before this information is lost to the ‘dustbin’ of time.
c)  To connect all interested parties, including families of the Cleere surname, variants of the surname, extended family, friends and historians so that information can be shared either publicly or privately.

Execution
To achieve our aims and objectives we will undertake the following

a)  Provide a public image library for the display of images relating to people and places
b)  Provide a social network platform for the private sharing of images and information between members.
c)  Provide a private forum to encourage meaningful dialogue between members.
d)  Share genealogical research through blogs, articles and forum posts for the benefit of members and interested non-members
e)  Promote businesses, organisations and hobbyists connected with the Cleere name.
f)  Increase public awareness by advertising, search engine optimisation and merchandising.

Principles
www.cleere.com will operate under the following principles

a)  Be a totally voluntary organisation and all posts are unpaid
b)  To use any revenues generated by the site to subsidise the costs of advertising and running the website.
c)  All information will be kept in the strictest privacy. Members details or information obtained will not be passed to any third parties and nor will members be canvassed either directly or anonymously as a result of registering their details with the website.
d)  The organisers undertake to make their best endeavours to promote the ‘Cleere’ name in a positive manner but not to the detriment of historical accuracy.
e)  To offer secure hosting of the website with industry-standard firewall protection
